Cecilie Warming

I studied art history and worked front of house at ARoS for several years before training as a guide, so the rooftop walkway still feels like home ground. On camera I climb to the panorama walkway first, explaining how each coloured pane changes the view of the city below it. I then move inside to a handful of works from the permanent collection, choosing pieces that reward a longer look on camera. I keep my sessions focused on a small number of works rather than the whole museum at once. Video guiding suits a building built around a single circular view better than almost anywhere else I have guided.
