I like showing Villa Comunale in the last hour of daylight, when the terrace over the bay empties out and the light turns the water a colour photographs from midday never quite catch. On camera I keep the phone on the view rather than the garden itself, since the drop down to the marina below is the whole point of the spot. Later in the evening I sometimes take a short call from Corso Italia instead, describing how the same street changes completely once the shops close and the passeggiata crowd comes out instead.
