Chiara Basso

I live in Dorsoduro and pass the Libreria Acqua Alta most days, a bookshop that keeps its stock in old boats and a bathtub to survive the district's regular flooding. My other session covers Campo Santa Margherita after dark, the square where much of the neighbourhood's student life happens once the day's shops close. I keep both sessions warm and conversational, and I like showing a quieter, more lived-in side of Venice than the postcards suggest. I am happy to follow whatever catches a viewer's attention.
