Christina Loucaides

I trained in museum studies and volunteered at the Pierides Museum, the oldest private museum in Cyprus, before I ever guided a call. On camera I stay at the museum's entrance and courtyard, describing the family collection inside room by room from memory, since filming stays outside the galleries themselves. I explain how one family's private interest in archaeology grew into a collection spanning thousands of years of Cypriot history. I answer detailed questions about the collection's origins more happily than almost anything else I guide.
