Chrysoula Ntounia

My family has grown vines in Vothonas for generations, in the same basket shape you still see across the island, so I grew up around the underground wineries long before I ever gave a tour of one. On camera I like showing the cave entrances properly, since the temperature and darkness inside are part of what makes the wine what it is. I also walk up to Pyrgos often, since my grandmother's house sits near the top, and I enjoy explaining why the village was built so differently from the caldera towns. I keep my pace steady and answer questions as they come.
