I have worked in Les Pâquis for years and hike Mont Salève most weekends, so the two sessions I run could not look more different from each other. In the neighbourhood, I walk past the mix of bars and restaurants that make it Geneva's most varied district after dark. Across the border, I ride the cable car up Mont Salève and let the whole city spread out below, lake included. I keep both sessions honest about which side of Geneva they show, since Les Pâquis and Salève are not the polished postcard version. I answer questions about either place equally.
