German runs in my family alongside French, so I switch between them easily when a viewer wants a word explained properly, especially around the wine route. I like starting sessions in the tanners' quarter, where the tall narrow houses still show what the trade needed from a building. On camera I keep the phone at eye level rather than looking down, since it makes the streets feel closer to how a visitor would actually see them. I try to leave time at the end of every call for whatever question came up but was not yet answered.
