Claire Vogt

I have lived on the Kleinbasel side of the river my whole life, so I still notice how differently the two banks feel even after crossing the bridge thousands of times. On camera I follow the river from the old bridge toward the bars and terraces that fill up on this side once evening comes. I explain how the crossing here has linked the two halves of the city since the thirteenth century, long before either side looked anything like it does now. I keep my sessions relaxed and enjoy showing a side of Basel visitors rarely expect.
