Concetta Randazzo

I grew up a few streets from Ballarò and my grandmother still buys her vegetables from the same stall she has used for forty years. On camera I move slowly between the stalls in the morning, when the market is loudest, and point out which vendors sell what and why certain corners specialise in certain produce. I like showing the market as it actually runs rather than staging anything for the camera, since the real rhythm of the place is more interesting than anything I could plan. I have guided here for five years now and still learn something most weeks.
