Costas Michaelides

I have worked around Paphos harbour my whole life, first on my father's fishing boat and now guiding calls from the same quay. On camera I walk the promenade toward the medieval castle at the harbour's edge, explaining how it was rebuilt several times under different rulers before settling into the shape you see today. I then turn back along the water to show the working boats still tied up a few metres from where tourists take photos. I like keeping the harbour's two lives, working and visited, both in view at once rather than pretending only one of them exists.
