I have a background in gardening, so Palazzo Pfanner's formal garden is the session I enjoy filming most, camera moving slowly past the statues and lemon trees set against the town walls behind them. I also take viewers to the botanical garden built into a corner of the walls, explaining how the fortifications shape what can actually grow there. My camera work stays close on plants and stonework together, since the setting is really the point rather than any single feature. I keep my explanations plain and specific rather than general.
