I spent my childhood weekends in the Jardim Publico chasing the peacocks around the old palace ruins, so that garden still feels like the most honest introduction to Evora that I know. On camera I walk the lawns slowly and let the birds move at their own pace rather than my schedule. When I take a session out to the Almendres stone circle I keep the camera low across the field so you get a sense of how the stones are arranged, not just a single close-up. Seven years of guiding later, that drive out into the plain is still my favourite part of the week.
