I studied medieval history and worked one summer cataloguing objects from the cathedral's cloister, so I know the geese kept there better than most people who just glance in passing. On camera I hold on the cloister gate long enough for the geese themselves to appear, since they are as much a part of the building's story as the stone. In El Call I follow the narrowest lanes, pointing out the few surviving traces of the old Jewish quarter. I keep both sessions careful and slow rather than rushed.
