I have worked on both of Lugano's mountains for years, so Monte San Salvatore and Monte Brè are the two sessions I know best from repeated trips up and down. On camera I ride the funicular up San Salvatore first, letting its pyramid shape and the panorama at the top speak for themselves. On Brè, said to be the sunniest mountain in Switzerland, I also show the small artists' village at the summit. I keep my pace calm on both mountains, since altitude and a good view both reward patience. I answer questions about the funiculars as readily as the scenery itself.
