Davide Ricci

I studied history with a focus on the House of Savoy, so Piazza Castello and the royal buildings around it are what I most enjoy explaining on camera. I walk the square first, naming each of the buildings ringing it, before moving into the courtyard of the former royal residence. I like tracing how a single family's power shaped so much of the city centre's current layout. I keep my pace measured and my explanations grounded in specific dates rather than general impressions. I answer questions about the Savoy family's history throughout.
