I grew up in Kanoni, close enough to walk to the causeway most evenings, so the view toward Vlacherna and Pontikonisi has been part of my daily life rather than something I discovered as a guide. On camera I follow the short causeway out to the monastery, explaining its long history as a quiet retreat rather than a grand religious site. I point the camera across to the tiny wooded islet beyond, reachable only by a short boat crossing that I do not take on camera. I keep sessions calm and unhurried, matching the pace of the place itself.
