Diarmuid Healy

I grew up in Sunday's Well and can trace my own street's Georgian terraces back three generations, so I bring family memory into what is otherwise documented history. My sessions on City Hall and the burning of Cork in 1920 rely on records I have read myself, not secondhand summaries. On camera I keep a steady pace between buildings and let their scale register before I start explaining. Six years of guiding has taught me that a good session is one where the viewer asks more questions than I expected, and I always make room to answer them properly.
