Dimitris Vlachos

I have worked in and around Psiri's bars for most of my adult life, first as a cook and later running my own small kitchen, so I know which buildings used to be workshops long before anyone puts a menu in the window. Filming at night took some getting used to, but I have learned to hold the phone steady even in a crowd so the murals and the lighting come through properly. I also show a quieter side of the city in Ano Petralona, where I actually live, because not every good meal happens somewhere famous. I like taking my time and letting the street speak for itself.
