Ebru Yalçın

I have lived in Alsancak my whole adult life, in an apartment above one of the streets that gets loudest once the cafes turn into bars in the evening. I trained as a guide to show this side of Izmir, since most tours stop at the old town and never reach the neighbourhood where a lot of the city actually spends its evenings. On camera I like walking a single street from its quiet afternoon version to how it looks once the lights come on, so viewers see the same place change. I answer questions about the music venues as honestly as any regular would.
