Efisio Loi

I grew up inside the Castello walls and still live a short walk from the cathedral, so the old town's layout feels like home rather than a tourist route. On camera I walk the perimeter where the medieval walls survive best, pointing out the two towers that once guarded opposite corners of the district. I usually end at the Bastione di Saint Remy, since its wide white staircase gives one of the clearest views down over the lower city and the harbour. I studied local history before becoming a guide and still enjoy pointing out details in walls I have walked past my whole life.
