Elena Castro Millán

I grew up in Santa Cruz, so the lanes I walk on a call are the same ones I used to run through as a child, before the neighbourhood filled with visitors. On camera I keep the phone close to the walls so the narrow width of the streets actually reads on screen, since photos taken from further back flatten that completely. Triana is where I go for flamenco in the evening, watching from the street rather than inside a paid venue, and I explain honestly that what we see depends entirely on who happens to be playing that night.
