I used to work box office at one of the Paral·lel theatres, so I know the street's history as Barcelona's old theatre district from the inside rather than a guidebook. On camera at the Magic Fountain I time the session for the evening show, when the water and lights change together. In Poble Sec I walk past the market and the bar fronts as the evening starts, explaining how the area shifted from theatre row to its current mix. I keep all three sessions evening-paced and easy going.
