I run most mornings through Parque Grande before work, and it is still my favourite place to show people a quieter side of Zaragoza away from the basilica crowds. On camera I explain how the park was laid out in the early twentieth century and separately walk the riverside Parque del Agua, built for the 2008 Expo, showing how a former exhibition site became permanent parkland. I keep my pace slow and let the greenery carry most of the session. Guiding by video in a park like this means the light and the season change every single visit without me needing to plan anything new.
