Elene Managadze

I grew up on Aghmashenebeli Avenue when the bakeries there still ran on wood-fired ovens, and a few of them still do. On camera I hold on the ovens and the trays coming out rather than the street itself, and I explain what makes a good khachapuri crust before naming any particular bakery. I take calls to different corners of the city depending on what people want to see, and I am glad to answer questions about ingredients from a home kitchen over the phone as well as on a walk.
