Eleni Fotiadi

I studied modern Greek history with a focus on the period right after independence, when this small town briefly served as the country's capital, so I never tire of explaining how that came to be. On camera I walk the buildings tied to that period, pointing out details most visitors would otherwise miss. I also cover the Komboloi Museum nearby, devoted to worry beads, a small but genuinely interesting collection. I speak French too, which brings a steady stream of detailed questions from that direction. I run a formal, well researched session throughout.
