Elin Lindqvist

I am an authorised Stockholm guide and have been showing the city since 2012. I studied history and archaeology at Uppsala and spent several years at the Stockholm City Museum, working on the excavations in Gamla stan when the metro and the new sluice were built. I grew up on Södermalm, where I still live, and I spend my summers on the island of Grinda in a small red cottage without running water, which my family has rented for three generations. That is why I also guide in the archipelago. I speak Swedish, English and German. I like to be well prepared, and I keep to time, but I also leave room for fika, because a Swedish tour without a coffee break would be strange. I guide live on video now, walking Stockholm with my phone and answering your questions in real time.
