I studied Habsburg court history at university, which is why I can place most of the Hofburg's wings in the century they were actually built rather than treating the whole complex as one building. On camera I stay in Michaelerplatz and Josefsplatz, since both squares frame the palace better than trying to cover everything at once. I keep sessions focused on one wing or courtyard rather than the whole sprawling complex, since the Hofburg genuinely rewards a narrower approach. I answer questions on specific emperors in detail, since that is where my research actually sits.
