The covered passages hidden behind ordinary streets are some of the least visited corners of central Paris, and I like showing viewers a version of the city most tourists walk straight past. I trained in architectural history before guiding became my main work. On camera I keep a formal, careful pace through each glass-roofed arcade, since the detail in the ironwork rewards a slower look. French and English both work for my calls. I answer questions about the passages' nineteenth-century history in as much depth as anyone wants.
