I like showing Amsterdam through its water rather than its streets, from a narrow bridge lit up at night to a stretch of canal known for how many bridges you can see from one spot. On camera I try to frame the water itself as much as the buildings around it, since the reflections change the whole mood depending on the light. I studied photography before guiding and that habit has not really left me. My sessions run at a slower pace than most, since I think these spots reward patience more than commentary.
