Federica Costa

I trained as a landscape architect and worked on a restoration project in Parco del Valentino, so the park's riverside castle and grounds are what I know best on camera. I walk toward the mock medieval castle built for an exhibition in 1884, explaining how a temporary structure ended up becoming a permanent city landmark. Along the river, I also cover the paths and trees that make the park Turin's clearest green space. I keep both sessions calm and unhurried, since the park rewards a slower pace than the city centre does. I answer questions about the planting as readily as the architecture.
