I have worked evenings along the Riva for years, so I know exactly when the promenade turns from a daytime walkway into Split's main evening gathering spot. On camera I walk it once the bars properly light up, then on a quieter afternoon I show the gardens around the Meštrović Gallery a short walk along the coast. Both are Split, just at completely different volumes. Seven years of guiding both sides of the city has made me fairly good at reading which mood a session actually needs.
