I grew up under Arthur's Seat and I still walk it most weekends, in any weather. On camera I slow right down at the closes off the Royal Mile, the narrow lanes most people rush past, and hold the phone steady so you can read the worn stone steps properly. I spent years guiding in the Highlands before settling back in Edinburgh, so I bring a lot of wider Scottish history into a city session. What I like best about video guiding is the questions that come mid route, they often send us somewhere I hadn't planned, and I always follow them properly rather than rushing back to a script.
