I live a few streets from Amalienborg and have watched the changing of the guard more times than I can count, so I know exactly where to stand for the clearest view. On camera I walk the octagonal square, pointing out the four matching palaces and explaining how the royal family split its use of them differently over the centuries. I try to time sessions around the guard's arrival when the schedule allows, though I explain the ceremony regardless of timing. I keep my tone steady and factual, since the square itself does most of the visual work. Filming Amalienborg means respecting the ceremony's own pace rather than rushing it.
