I studied archaeology and spent two seasons working near the Roman Thermae before I ever guided anyone through them, so the layout of the old bath complex is closer to memory than notes for me. On camera I like tracing the route bathers once took, from the changing rooms through to the heated halls, even though only the foundations remain. I also spend time at the clock tower nearby, a much later addition that most guests walk straight past. I run a steady, detailed session and enjoy a proper follow up question more than almost anything else.
