I used to work restoring old town facades, so I read the buildings differently from most guides, noticing which stone is original and which was patched in later. My sessions tend to zigzag through the smaller courtyards rather than following the main street straight through, since that is where the restoration work is easiest to see up close. On camera I like showing a single wall in detail rather than a whole street at once, because the layers of paint and plaster are the real story. I keep a calm pace and leave the last stretch of the session for questions.
