I have guided people up to Narikala Fortress more times than I can count, and I still change my route depending on the light on the walls that day. On a call I keep the phone steady on the old stonework and explain which sections date from which rebuilding, since the fortress has been knocked down and repaired several times over the centuries. Below it I lead people through the lanes of Old Tbilisi, pausing at courtyards rather than walking through them fast. I like slow calls, and I never mind stopping twice at the same corner.
