I trained as a local historian around Como's Duomo, and I still notice something new in its mix of Gothic and Renaissance detail every time I film the facade. My other session covers the Basilica di Sant'Abbondio, a quieter Romanesque church with twin towers that most visitors to the lake never see. I like slowing down at architectural transitions, the point where one century's work gives way to another's, since that is usually where the best stories sit. I keep a steady, formal pace and welcome detailed questions.
