Giovanni Bassi

I trained as an archaeologist before becoming a guide, so Roman Verona is where I still spend most of my time on camera. My three sessions cover the Arena, the Roman Theatre across the river, and Porta Borsari, one of the old gates that once marked the road into the city. I like showing how much Roman structure survives once you know where to look, since most visitors only notice the Arena and miss the rest entirely. I keep a measured, detailed pace and welcome questions about any period of the city's Roman history.
