Gizem Kaplan

I studied classics at university, so the Roman temple in the old city and the mosque built beside it are the two places I most enjoy explaining on camera. On camera I like showing how the inscription on the temple wall survived centuries after the building itself was converted for other uses. I also guide a session at Hacı Bayram Mosque nearby, since the two sites sit close enough together to tell a continuous story about the city's different eras. I keep my sessions warm and conversational, encouraging questions throughout.
