Culloden is where most of my sessions happen, since it's the site people travel furthest to see and the one that asks the most care in how it's explained. On camera I keep well back from the memorial cairn itself and focus instead on the open moor, since the scale of the ground is what actually explains what happened there. I studied history before training as a guide, and I try to stick closely to what's documented rather than the more dramatic versions of the story. I keep my tone measured throughout, since the subject asks for it.
