I grew up cycling around the reservoir northwest of the city and still think it is the most underrated part of Brno. My sessions cover the dam itself and Denis Gardens on the hill above the old town, both quieter than the main square but just as much a part of daily life here. I keep a relaxed pace outdoors and like explaining how locals actually use these spaces rather than only their history. I am happy to slow down wherever the view or the water catches your attention.
