I trained as a historian focusing on Bavarian church architecture, so the cathedral's papal tomb still feels like a genuinely rare thing to explain, the only one north of the Alps. On camera I hold on the tomb itself, then step back to show all four towers together from the square outside. My second session climbs to Altenburg Castle, the fortress the prince-bishops called home before they moved down to a grander palace in town. I keep a formal, unhurried pace suited to visitors who want the real history rather than a quick summary.
