Harriet Walsh

I have been a Blue Badge guide since 2011, and before that I spent twenty years as an archivist at the London Metropolitan Archives, handling the parish registers and plague bills that most people only read about. I was born in Islington and have lived in Bloomsbury since my daughter was small. My favourite part of London is the City, the square mile that empties at weekends, where Roman stones sit under office towers and every church has a story about fire or plague. I also love Hampstead Heath, where I swim in the ladies' pond from May to October. I speak English and French.
