I worked for years as a station assistant at Atocha before moving into guiding, so the building's hidden tropical garden inside the old terminus hall is where I still feel most at home. On camera I pair that stop with the Puerta de Alcalá and the fountain at Cibeles nearby, both public and both free to see properly from the street.
