Helga Kristjánsdóttir

I trained as a sculptor and spent years researching Reykjavik's public art before turning to guiding, so the Sun Voyager and the shoreline it sits on are subjects I know properly rather than from a leaflet. On camera I like letting a piece sit still on screen and explaining what the artist intended before moving on. Three years of guiding has taught me that calls suit deeper research topics well, since I can share photographs and sketches that a live walk would not allow. I always answer questions properly and send further reading afterwards for anyone who wants to go deeper.
