I have shopped at Torvehallerne most weeks since it opened, so I know which stallholders have been there from the start and which have rotated through more recently. On camera I walk between the two glass halls, pointing out a few stalls selling specifically Danish products alongside others bringing in food from further afield. I explain how the market replaced an older, rougher square that stood here for over a century before the redevelopment. I keep my sessions close to the stalls rather than the wider square outside. Filming a market like this works best slowly, stall by stall, rather than rushing the whole hall.
