I grew up in the shadow of the castle ruins, and I still notice something new in the brickwork every time I point my camera at the tower. My sessions usually start at the square and work outward, following one thread such as the siege history or the brewery next door rather than jumping between landmarks. I like slowing the camera down at the ruins so viewers can see the scale of the walls before I explain what happened there. On screen I keep a calm pace and always leave room at the end for questions about the town, since most people ask something I had not expected.
