Inès Battaglia

Art is what pulled me into guiding, and Nice gives me an unusual amount of it for a city this size, from Matisse's own garden to the biblical paintings Chagall made for a museum built around them. On camera I like holding on a single canvas or a single window longer than feels natural, since that is usually where the real explanation lives. My family has Italian roots from just across the border, which shows in how I talk about the light here. I speak French, English and Italian, and I switch depending on who is watching.
