I trained in art history with a focus on Nordic modernism, which is why Skeppsholmen's quiet museum island still feels like the most natural place for me to guide. On camera I walk the island's paths past former naval buildings now holding galleries, explaining how the military history and the contemporary art sit side by side without either fully erasing the other. I point out the exterior of the modern art museum specifically, since the collection itself stays behind its doors. I keep the pace slow, since this island rewards quiet more than most in the city.
