Ioana Petrescu

I worked for a few years in an art gallery before I began guiding, and Bánffy Palace is still the building I most enjoy showing, since the same rooms that once hosted a governor's household now hold Cluj's main art collection. On camera I move slowly between the courtyard and the ground-floor galleries, describing the paintings I cannot bring close enough for the camera to read properly. In the evenings I also like showing Piezișă Street, where the university's bars spill onto the pavement and the mood shifts after dark. I keep a warm, conversational pace and enjoy questions from people curious about student life as much as the art.
